This site was created as a case study to develop the ideas associated with the Great War and it's effects on New Zealand society.
In doing this, the author used the stories of real life families to make the Pax Family to ensure authenticity. Permission was sought from these families.
All of the events surrounding the story of the Pax family are historically accurate, however the family themselves did not in fact exist.
