Peter attends St Paul's Collegiate School in Hamilton and is attending the Anzac services in Gallipoli in 2010. He is proud to be accompanying his special heroes - his mum Katie and grandad Phillip for the 95th commemoration of the Gallipoli landing. As the years go on more and more young New Zealanders see the relevance of ANZAC day as a day to commemorate the sacrifice, selflessness and service of our forebears. This is seen by massive attendances at ANZAC services in New Zealand and abroad . These are virtues that every young Kiwi should aspire towards, however as Peter stated in a recent essay competition: "Our sacrifices should be aimed to protect Planet Earth from all forms of human destruction."
